Stu is the guitarist and backup singer of the Australian band Eskimo Joe. Stu names his car, drinks and swears a lot and adores food and the guitar and has a wicked sense of humour. He's been best friends with Kavyen Temperley for years and met Joel Quartermain, the other founding member of Eskimo Joe, through this friendship.

Stu was still at university when he, Kav Temperley and Joel Quartermain formed Eskimo Joe, after Kav and Joel left their former band Freuds Pillow. Stu announced his engagement to girlfriend Gen at the 2005 ARIAs and they were married in December 2006. Stu has been quoted as saying that his wedding day was 'the best day of my life'.
