I have already covered some of this in other sections of the site, but this is in response to some emails I have been receiving. This page is to make it easier for you to find answers to the questions you want to ask, but didn't!

Can I use the images/screencaps from the galleries?
Absolutely! You can use any screencap, with the only caveat being you must credit this site. Feel free to use the caps for icons, fanart, whatever! I have no problems with allowing the use of the screencaps! As for the images, same goes. UNLESS the images are photographs that were taken by other fans. These should be clearly marked/watermarked and these should not be used without permission from the owners. As for the other general images, they don't belong to me, they're freely available on the net, so feel free to use what you wish!

Do you know Kav/Stu/Joel?
Pretty much - no. I've never had the pleasure to meet them either in person or over the internet.

Can you give me Kav/Stu/Joel's phone number/email address/home address?
Again, no. *I* don't even have the info and even if I did, I wouldn't pass it on to anyone. That's called a breach of privacy and that's something I just don't do.

Do you know anyone who knows Eskimo Joe?
As in, friends-knowing? No. As in 'yeah, I met them'? Yes. Who? Not telling. If they want you to know, they'll let you know!

Can they pass something onto Eskimo Joe for me?
No. No negotiations, no comprises. No. I wouldn't ask that of them, even for myself, so I can't see me doing it for some random person who emails me!

Has Eskimo Joe acknowledged/approved this site?
If you visit their official site and click on links, scroll right down to the bottom, and what do you see? Beating Like A Drum is now the OFFICIAL Eskimo Joe fansite. Knock me over with a feather! =D So yes, the site is now officially approved by Eskimo Joe and management!

Why don't you update every day?
Well, a couple of reasons. One is that there isn't enough informatiom to update daily. I update when I have something to update! Secondly, I do have a life outside of this website! I work full time, I have a family, friends...I love working on the site, but sometimes I just need a break! I do try to update at least once a week, but again, it depends if there's anything to update plus it also depends on how busy I am with work!

Why are the audio/video files in Winzip?
By placing the *very large* audio and video files in Winzip, it (a) saves storage space on my server and (b) saves bandwidth on my server. I only have a limit of 100GB of bandwidth a month. If I was to remove the Winzips and place the .mps and video files as they are on the site, it would take up a large amount of bandwidth. If the site exceeds the bandwidth limit, it shuts down until the first of the next month. So, for example, if the site was to have used the 100GB limit by the 25th of the month, the site would shut down and not be able to be viewed until the 1st of the following month. And bandwidth is not cheap to buy! So thats why I place the larger files in a Winzip format. By the way, Winzip is actually free to download!
